Genshin Impact anime leaks reveal information about regions, timeline and story

Genshin Impact, the well-received open-world RPG, will soon be the subject of an anime series adaptation. HoYoverse has recently released some breathtaking Genshin Impact trailers, making it easy to envision what the game may look like as a full-fledged TV anime series. Genshin Impact leakers have come alive with the newest leaks, this time about the upcoming anime of the game.

This isn’t HoYoverse’s first time with anime, as Honkai Impact also had several animated shorts produced and uploaded to the game’s YouTube channel.

Leaks reveal Genshin Impact anime takes place before Aether and Lumine entered the world of Teyvat

The first leak is by the Teyvat Tabloid, notorious for finding leaks for future content of Genshin Impact. We can see news about the anime from the marketing department in the post. The anime will take place in a time before Aether and Lumine entered the world of Teyvat.

The opening sequence of Genshin Impact is followed by the Archon War’s conclusion, Aether and Lumine’s entrance (the PV scene), an adventure across Teyvat, and the devastation of Khaenri’ah 500 years ago.

After 18 months of work, around one-fourth of the 12 episodes for Mondstadt have already been finished. It features a captivating plot and outstanding VFX to keep viewers and fans interested. This is an interesting take on the plot of Genshin Impact.

The anime ends with the beginning scene of the Genshin Impact, making it a prequel to the game

Setting a prequel ensures the future-proofing of the lore of Genshin Impact in the games. It will not overlap with the lore that is covered by the anime. The next piece of evidence for the leak is from a Redditor named Nemnemi83 posted in the r/Genshin_Impact_Leaks subreddit.

The post of the conversation reiterates what the first post already said about the upcoming plot of the anime and how much of the anime has already been done.

The opening scene of Genshin Impact marks the end of the anime. This makes the animation series a prequel to the video game HoYoverse. This take is very interesting because many fans had assumed that the anime would take place in some sort of alternate timeline or perhaps tell a special tale of the Traveler. However, it appears that it will only concentrate on events that occurred before the game, which would give Teyvat’s world much more depth.

Players are eager to see some significant, previously unrevealed moments from the lore of Genshin. According to the leaks, this next series will feature great animation and a compelling story to display these scenes.

The anime will be a fantastic contribution to the history of the Genshin Impact. We can only rely on HoYoverse and Ufotable to deliver a project this size that all the fans will like.
