With November lurking around the corner, the fandom is excited at what new anime they’ll bookmark or binge-watch next. While the November 2022 anime line-up might not exactly live up to the hype of its preceding month, it has still got some amazing entries that will surely appeal to you on many fronts.

New Anime of November 2022

1. Lookism

Lookism

Release date: November 4, 2022

Lookism is a slice-of-life Korean webtoon series that’s about to receive its first-ever anime adaptation in early November. Netflix, like always, decided to greenlight an anime for the acclaimed webtoon, and what’s even more surprising is that they chose Studio Mir, the animation house behind mind-blowing TV series like Harley Quinn and Young Justice, to make the project.

Unpopular and obese Hyung Seok receives a handsome and fit body, able to alternate between them during the day and night. Lookism is a strong entry into the November 2022 anime roster as its dramatic story of how the world treats Hyung Seok’s fit body with kindness and obese body with disgust is one that will undeniably leave you heavy-hearted.

2. Kantai Collection: Let’s Meet at Sea

Kantai Collection

Release date: November 4, 2022

Based on the hit web game KanColle (KANtai COLLEction), Kantai Collection: Let’s Meet at Sea is the official sequel to the anime series that was released in 2015. Details about the story are still vague, so we can’t say for certain what’s next for the Fleet Girls.

However, we’re going to guess that Fubuki will remain as boisterous as ever, trying to become the strongest among the Third Torpedo Squadron, and then putting an end to the Abyssal Fleet. Definitely one new anime of November 2022 worth keeping an eye on.

3. Suzume no Tojimari

Suzume no Tojimari

Release date: November 11, 2022

From the creator of two of the highest-grossing anime films of all time, Your Name, and Weathering with You, comes Suzume no Tojimari, another heart-warming and stunning tale of life. Suzume’s Locking Up will be arriving in theaters on November 11th, and we have no doubt that it’ll top the box office like CoMix Wave Films’ other works.

Suzume’s a high schooler who’s caught up in an attempt to save Japan from waves of catastrophe when a mysterious man appears asking about “Doors of Disaster”. It’s still not yet clarified whether Suzume’s Locking Up will be set in the same universe as Your Name, but that’s something the studio always lets viewers find out for themselves.

4. Fly Me to the Moon OVA

Fly Me to the Moon Seifuku

Release date: November 22, 2022

In late 2021, along with the announcement of a second season, an OVA for Fly Me to the Moon was also announced. In the previous OVA, Tsukasa got a new phone, Chitose was chilling with her maids, and the anime kept reminding us why it’s such a good rom-com. Currently, the new OVA’s plot is yet to be revealed but we know that the episode is titled “Seifuku”.

Yup, Seven Arcs is sending us this OVA too, so the animation will be top-notch as ever. Be sure not to miss out on Fly Me to the Moon’s second OVA in November as it’s only a prelude to the anxiously awaited sequel season.

5. Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Season 4 – Part 3

Legend of the Galactic Heroes Season 4 Part 3

Release date: November 25, 2022

Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These – Intrigue, or rather LOGH: Season 4 is set to wrap things up on 25th November with the release of its last film. The movie will be the third and final part of this season, and it’ll first screen in theaters for about three weeks until it’s taken off. It should then be available to stream on Crunchyroll soon after.

November 2022 will be a spectacular month for anime fans who love a space trek, as LOGH: Season 4’s final movie is totally going to hit hard when the Imperial Fleet finally starts taking the fight to the Iserlohn Corridor.

6. Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World

Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World

Release date: November 25, 2022

We won’t judge you if watching harem anime is your guilty pleasure. Instead, here’s some news about the return of Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World.

Studio Passione was gracious enough to make a few OVAs, so if you’ve just finished watching the first season and haven’t been able to find something as thrilling, then the OVAs are headed your way as a part of the November 2022 anime queue.

The steamy, eccentric, and comedic misadventures of Kaga and his slaves are continuing in the upcoming shorts and seem to be ones that will leave quite the impression.

7. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie Scarlet Bond

Release date: November 25, 2022

Another massive budget and flashy release in November 2022 is the Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond movie. The isekai series has had a terrific run so far and Scarlet Bond will hopefully be the first of many feature films released in the franchise.

Reincarnated as a Slime had a weird start but one intriguing enough that made you sit through as it convinced you how different it truly is from the generic list of fantasy stories. The Scarlet Bond movie will be an original creation, so for manga readers too it’s going to be a refreshing take on our beloved Demon Lord Rimuru Tempest’s exploits.

Along with Suzume, Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond is our top pick for November 2022’s biggest new anime launches.
