Whilst the vast majority of anime series featuring on the 2022 Fall slate are preparing to release their second episode, there are a few notable shows who are yet to have their international premiere.

What is Bocchi The Rock about?
Bocchi The Rock is an upcoming slice-of-life comedy anime, an adaptation of Aki Hamaji’s original manga series by Studio CloverWorks (Spy x Family, The Promised Neverland, My Dress-Up Darling).
The series tells the story of Hitori Gotou, a high school student who spends her time trying to learn how to play the guitar.
She hopes that by learning the guitar, she can eventually join a school band and make some friends – something that she has been unable to do so far due to her extreme social anxiety and shyness around classmates.
However, her dreams may actually be coming true when she meets a girl called Nijika Ijichi, an excellent drummer who is looking for a new guitarist to join her band.

Bocchi The Rock: Release date and streaming explained
Bocchi The Rock episode 1 is scheduled to premiere around the world on Saturday, October 8th.
The anime will be simulcast internationally via the Crunchyroll streaming platform.

A specific release time has not been confirmed by Crunchyroll; however, Bocchi The Rock episode 1 is set to be broadcast at 12 AM JST. As modern anime have a typically wait of between one and two hours between domestic broadcast and international simulcast, fans can expect the series to debut between 4 PM and 6 PM BST.
