This was at the Natsu No Gakuensai 2022 Event that was conducted by Kadokawa’s MF Bunko J novel imprint, where the creators were present. At the event, the panel of DIAD was also present. And thus, the announcement was accompanied by a teaser video. This 80-second video was a brief recap of the events that took place in the past series.
With this, we also get glimpses of some of the events that are to come in the near future. A congratulatory poster by Mugiko, poni, and Moyashi Ime was also part of the announcement. The Detective Is Already Dead Season 2: Plot Details
Tantei wa Mō, Shinde Iru is the story of Kimihiko Kimizuka, who is described as a boy who has been attracting trouble all his life. And because of this trait, he has found himself in deep struggles. From being part of a flash mob to getting beaten up every now and then, he has experienced it all in a short period of time. With this, we then see the boy jumping to the junior high here. One fine day, the boy gets kidnapped by a bunch of goons only to be sent as a traveler who is asked to carry a suitcase on an international flight.
This is where he gets to meet with Siesta, the lady who tells him that she is one of the greatest detectives in the world. Because of her claim, he was suspicious of the activities she was into. As the story continues, we come to know that Siesta is looking for a partner in crime, and Kimihiko ends up joining her three years later. As the first season comes to an end, Episode 12, titled “Those Dizzying Three Years I Spent With You,” Siesta and Kimihiko are seen fighting the evil that they had been trying to find all this while.
Season 2 Will Explore The Cliffhanger!
The Chameleon is dead, and they are finally sitting to tell their origin stories. While the first case is solved in that they also have a new member in their team, there still is some more to this arc.
