With lyrics written by fellow labelmate Aira Yuuki, and composition and arrangement by Tasuku Maeda, along with the producer duo Jazzin’park, who have worked on many big hits, “Another Self” is an ambitious song with a relaxed tempo that features the latest pop sounds combined with a Lantisesque sound from the past.     Akane Kumada’s career kicked off when she won the Grand Prix at the Anisong Stars audition in 2017. After that, she went on to voice Ichiko Oda in Oda Cinnamon Nobunaga, Ellen in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Mina in Drugstore in Another World: The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist, and Hibiki Morishima in Healer Girl.

    In January 2020, she voiced Ichiko Oda, one of the main characters in Cinnamon Nobunaga, and made her debut as an artist with the opening theme song “Sunny Sunny Girl.” Since then, she has sung the opening theme songs for several other popular works, including The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Super Cub, and Drugstore in Another World: The Slow Life of a Cheat Pharmacist, as well as the ending theme song for Kizuna Taikan TV: Mobile Suit Gundam Dai-07 Itakura Shoutai ~Yuku Kizuna Kuru Kizuna~. In recent years, she has been active in not only anime, but also a wide range of other activities, including regular appearances on radio programs and TV variety shows.
