Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Reportedly Getting Anime Adaptation


The South Korean manhwa or webtoon Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint by the Korean author duo Sing Shong, is set to receive an anime adaptation.

The news is reported by X / Twitter account @SugoiLITE, that covers anime and manga updates. The report indicates that the anime adaptation is currently in production. No additional details, such as the release date, the studio responsible for production, or the staff involved, is known at this time.

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint follows the journey of Kim Dokja, a solitary reader of a webnovel titled Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World authored anonymously. When the world inexplicably transforms into the novel’s setting, Dokja, armed with his knowledge of the plot, navigates the challenges of survival. He even encounters Yoo Joonghyuk, the novel’s protagonist, forming an alliance to alter the original storyline and expedite the story’s ending.

Originally a webnovel published from 2018 to 2020, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint has been adapted into a manhwa (webtoon) starting in 2020. Produced by Redice Studio and published by Naver Webtoon, the manhwa is available in English on Line Webtoon.
