What You Need to Know:
- HIDIVE announced that it will add Super Dimension Century ORGUSS, the classic sci-fi anime series created by Big West (Macross series, The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Floral Magician Mary Bell) and TMS Entertainment (LUPIN THE 3rd series, Dr. STONE, MEGALOBOX), to its immense retro anime lineup. The series will begin streaming on HIDIVE in Summer 2022.
- In 2062, two technologically advanced regimes engage in brutal, all-out war. Desperate to put an end to the bloody standstill, pilot Kei Katsuragi launches a final attempt to destroy the weapon at the heart of the conflict: the dreaded Space/Time Oscillation Bomb. But Kei’s actions wreak unforeseen consequences and plunge his world into a maelstrom of intersecting alternate realities and timelines. Now he must try to reverse the effects of the detonated Space/Time Oscillation Bomb, but restoring the world to normal may be beyond his reach…
- Super Dimension Century ORGUSS is directed by Noboru Ishiguro (Astro Boy (1980), Legend of the Galactic Heroes Gaiden, Star Blazers: The Quest for Iscandar) and Yasumi Mikamoto (Naruto: Shippūden, LUPIN THE 3rd PART 4, Bakugan Battle Brawlers) with script and series composition from Kenichi Matsuzaki (Space Runaway Ideon, Mobile Suit Gundam, Bubblegum Crisis).
- The series stars Show Hayami (Ascendance of a Bookworm, Trigun, Bleach) as Kei Katsuragi, Run Sasaki (Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Crusher Joe, Violence Jack: Hell’s Wind) as Mimsy Laaz, Arihiro Hase (Macross, Macross 7, Lily C.A.T.) as Badei, Koichi Kitamura (Yu Yu Hakusho, One Piece, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) as Govu and Masako Katsuki (Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Sailor Moon, Naruto: Shippuden) as Athena Henderson.
