Is There Enough Source Material For A Sequel?
Yoshitoki Ōima, the creator of A Silent Voice, published the original “To Your Eternity” manga in November 2016. It’s currently in its third arc since January, as per Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine.
The first arc spanned November 2016 to December 2019, while the second ran from January 2020 to October 2022.
The manga series is still on going with 20 volumes so far. Considering there are 7 volumes left for the adaptation, there is enough source material for “To Your Eternity” season 3.
The manga is available in English through Kodansha USA, coincided with the second season of the anime airing in October 2022. It can also be read on Crunchyroll through simulpub.
The first 2 seasons of the anime covers volume 1 to 12. So, the third season will adapt from Volume 13 onwards, possibly till volume 18.

The first season was the work of Brain’s Base studio. However, the second season was handed to Studio Drive. So, will season 3 of “To Your Eternity” be handed off to yet another studio? Or will Studio Drive continue the adaptation?
The answer is, we don’t really know. I’m guessing that Studio Drive will continue the adaptation. Because, it is crazy to change the studio with every season.
But there is no official news regarding the animation studio yet. Only time will tell which animation company is going to work on the much anticipated third season.
